In addition to the services mentioned, we have a team of people, including social workers, chaplains, hospice staff and nurse coordinators, devoted to you and your family.
The Welcome Center supports the unique needs of patients and families traveling from out of town. They can help patients with housing, transportation, financial information and other resources.
The Ronald McDonald House, located on the main campus of Nationwide Children’s Hospital serves as a home away from home for families of hospitalized children.
Provides amenities for patients and families including: a lounge with movies, books, magazines and music; a nutrition center with vending; a library/resource center; exercise area; laundry; shower facilities; and, an education resource center.
A Family Support Coordinator helps navigate through the various resources available to our patients and families. Some of these include social services, pastoral care, homecare and hospice, lactation consultants and support groups.
